Job Description

The Activity Coordinator (AC) position for the Good Futures SWEEP Enhancement Initiative is designed to elevate the implementation and coordination of the planned activities and deliverables outlined in the
Good Futures:
Culturally Rooted Student Recruitment, Retention, and Leadership Development for Social Work and Education Students and Faculty proposal. The AC will support these developed programs and coordinate the facilitation of these activities. The AC will serve the Good Futures SWEEP and the New Mexico Highlands University community by supporting these initiatives for recruitment, retention, and graduation
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Support the Program Director, PI, and other collaborators of the Good Futures SWEEP Initiatives to implement programs and activities that improve enrollment, retention, and graduation by: Meeting regularly with the Program Director, PI, and other collaborators to ensure programming and future activities are being executed in line with the Good Futures SWEEP Initiatives proposal Developing resources, promotional material, and trainings in coordination with Good Futures SWEEP Initiatives proposal Assisting the Program Director, PI, and other collaborators in the preparation of the report on activities, participation, and outcomes assessment Assisting the Program Director, PI, and other collaborators in planning and management Maintaining records, resources/material, participation, and contracts Minimum Qualifications Master's degree Preferred Qualifications Direct experience coordinating and developing projects, programs, and activities Knowledge of and experience with current and innovative in culturally rooted educational strategies and practices Two or more years of experience in leadership/professional development programming Preferred Skills Ability in the use of technologies and/or strategies to enhance Initiatives Excellent communication skills Strong organization and team building skills
