Job Description

Brown Federal Services is seeking an experienced Program Manager 3 to support Los Alamos National Laboratory. The selected candidate will provide leadership and overall management of assigned technical and operational programs, ensuring successful execution of scope, schedule, budget, and performance objectives. This position requires a proven leader capable of managing complex programs, building strong customer relationships, coordinating across multiple organizations, and delivering results in a highly regulated environment. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Lead and manage assigned technical and operational programs Define program scope, schedules, budgets, priorities, and performance milestones Develop and maintain cost, scope, and schedule baselines Monitor program performance and provide variance analysis and reporting Manage program risks, issues, and change control processes Build and maintain effective relationships with customers, stakeholders, and project teams Coordinate activities across multiple organizations and disciplines Ensure program objectives are achieved while meeting customer expectations Prepare and deliver executive level presentations, reports, and status updates Support identification and development of new program opportunities as missions and customer needs evolve Ensure compliance with applicable laboratory, regulatory, and contractual requirements Bachelor's degree and a minimum of eight (8) years of related management experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience Demonstrated experience managing complex technical or operational programs Strong knowledge of program management principles, including scope, schedule, cost, risk, and performance management Experience developing and managing program baselines and performance metrics Proven ability to build consensus, resolve conflicts, and establish strong working relationships Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills Strong organizational and leadership abilities Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast paced environment Preferred Qualifications Experience supporting Department of Energy (DOE), National Nuclear Security Administration (NNSA), National Laboratories, or other Federal agencies Experience managing large, multi disciplinary programs Advanced coursework or graduate level education in a related field Experience with program risk management and change control processes
