The Program Manager will report to the Anxiety Program Clinical Lead. This position is salaried, exempt and is considered full-time. Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree or higher in a behavioral health discipline or related field required. Other appropriate fields include nursing and education. At least one-year of experience in a behavioral health setting required. Leadership experience preferred. Ability to work with all ages and genders, individuals and families. Proficient in spelling, grammar, professional writing, multi-tasking. Strong computer skills (EMR) and strong documentation skills. Demonstrates competency and sensitivity in the areas of multicultural, racial, religious/spiritual and sexual orientation issues.
Requirements:
Must pass a federal background check at hire and every 3 years. Must adhere to the drug-free workplace act. Demonstrate maturity of judgment, attitude, and life skills. Must demonstrate an ability to adapt to change and remain flexible. Must be a strong team player that works well in a busy environment. Must have strong communication skills and be upbeat, positive, and professional when interacting with clients, providers and fellow co-workers. Must have excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills, as well as the ability to effectively prioritize and manage your time unsupervised & independently.
Duties:
Ensures appropriate implementation of program schedule, methods, and duties of program staff. Supervises floor staff and case managers for the assigned higher level of care program(s). This includes creating staff schedules, managing payroll and PTO, completing 90 day/annual/other reviews, being involved in the hiring/termination, and training. Assists in hiring all HLOC staff, including group leaders, recovery coaches, therapists, case managers/care coordinators, etc. Helps to coordinate coverage when floor staff and case managers are unavailable, and acts as coverage when needed. Communicates regularly and openly with the Clinical Lead of the assigned program, CEO, and Executive Director. Will coordinate welcoming of new client(s) in assigned program(s), and act as backup when necessary. Coordinate regularly with outside agencies and providers to determine how Thrive can best grow and develop the assigned program to serve the needs of the community. Coordinate with families and support persons of clients as necessary within the assigned program particularly when complaints or concerns arise. Assess and identify programmatic needs including group schedule, staffing needs, training needs, etc. Ensures the daily billing census is completed daily. Assists the Clinical Leads and program staff in managing the client milieu. Co-facilitates the weekly floor staff meeting with the lead RC(s). Completes quarterly quality control. Collaborates with the administrative team in establishing and maintaining CARF accreditation. Supervises assigned RC in buying all groceries and program necessities, and reconciles the credit card (Rippling) weekly. Spends regular time on the floor of the assigned program(s) to ensure clients/staff/programs are running smoothly. Communicates with the team about any facility maintenance needs. Assists case managers and the team's therapists in coordinating client goodbye circles, and acts as coverage when needed. Attends all assigned program(s) treatment team meetings. Ensures appropriate implementation of program schedule, methods, and duties of program staff. Facilitates regular meetings with case managers and RCs, taking notes for all meetings, including 1:1s. Assists with the flow of administrative office and admissions. Other duties as assigned.
