The Quality Management Program Coordinator is a corporate-level role responsible for coordinating and overseeing the quality management initiatives across all Peregrine Senior Living communities. This includes training, mentoring and auditing all communities quality management programs, ensuring compliance with policies and procedures, as well as compliance with state and federal regulations. This position involves travel to Buffalo, NY, Albany NY, and Central NY. Quality Management Program Coordinator Responsibilities include: Facilitate the implementation and performance of quality management programs across all Peregrine Senior Living communities to ensure compliance with corporate policies and state regulations as they relate to the senior living industry. Monitor compliance at each community while facilitating monthly departmental compliance meetings, safety committee meetings and semi-annual quality assurance committee meeting requirements outlined in corporate policy and procedure. Provide training, guidance and support to community staff and leadership on quality management protocols and regulatory compliance. Participate in regular in-community audits of departmental compliance across all communities while collaborating with leadership to address audit findings and develop actionable improvement plans. Collaborate with Director of Quality Management and Licensure to monitor and address trends in, and concerns with, the quality management program and operational risk reduction across communities. Stay informed on all updated state and federal regulation impacting adult care facilities, collaborating with operations to develop policy and procedure if indicated to address changes and ensure dissemination of information to company leadership. Ensure timely documentation and submission of all quality assurance activities including plans of corrections.Quality Management Program Coordinator Education & Experience:
A bachelor's degree in healthcare management, business administration or related field, preferred Three years of management experience in a licensed adult care facility in New York State, required An understanding of assisted living operations and regulatory compliance, required A demonstrated ability to comply with quality improvement initiatives with the ability to lead and teach others, required A strong leader with organizational, communication and problem-solving skills with high moral and ethical standards with a commitment to maintaining the safety and best quality of life possible for seniors living in an assisted living community, required Working knowledge of computers including Excel, Word, and MS Office, Electronic Medical Records, required Must have a valid driver license as position requires frequent travel. (communities located in western, central, and capital region of NY and MD)Company Overview:
