reviews $20•$25 an hour•Part-time Job Overview Position Summary A Mommy & Me Program Instructor leads engaging classes and activities designed for parents/caregivers and young children to participate in together. The instructor creates a welcoming, safe, and nurturing environment that encourages bonding, early childhood development, and social interaction. Responsibilities Plan and lead age-appropriate activities, including music, movement, sensory play, storytelling, and group games Foster positive interaction between caregivers and children Maintain a safe, clean, and organized classroom or activity space Monitor children's participation and ensure activities are developmentally appropriate Communicate clearly and professionally with parents/caregivers Set up and clean up materials before and after classes Encourage participation and create an inclusive, supportive atmosphere Follow all health, safety, and program policies Qualifications Experience working with infants, toddlers, or preschool-aged children Background in early childhood education, recreation, camp programs, music, dance, or related fields preferred Strong communication and interpersonal skills Energetic, patient, creative, and dependable CPR/First Aid certification preferred Ability to lead groups and engage both children and adults Schedule & Environment Part-time, weekday mornings Ability to lift and carry activity materials and move actively throughout class sessions Skills Group facilitation Classroom management Creativity and lesson planning Customer service and parent communication Team collaboration
