Job Description

Position Summary:
The Housing Subsidy Liaison leads the organization's Housing Subsidy Program as awarded by the Office for People with Developmental Disabilities (OPWDD). To protect the safety of the individuals we support and staff, Springbrook requires new employees to be current on all recommended vaccinations, including but not limited to:
COVID-19.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
Comprehensively applies OPWDD Housing Subsidy Program
ADM 2022-03
guidance, creating easy to use and audit-safe housing subsidy opportunities. Ensures enrollees meet eligibility requirements, allowable housing is selected, and meets quality assurance expectations. Organizes, informs, and ensures the completion of the annual recertification of OPWDD housing subsidy process for all enrollees. Develops strong working knowledge of relevant agency software. Supports quality program administration, monitoring compliance with all applicable policies and procedures. Act as liaison between OPWDD, landlord/property managers, Brokers, Care Managers, and providers to address systemic issues while providing professional communication and feedback to aid in development of housing solutions and/or address tenancy issues and concerns. Develop working knowledge of Springbrook business office functions including but not limited to housing subsidy billing and payment processes. Attends OPWDD trainings regarding housing subsidy policies and regulations. Capably addresses policy and procedure questions from staff, individuals, and families. Supports the philosophy, goals, and policies of Springbrook with all stakeholders in a positive and constructive manner. All other duties as assigned.
Qualifications, Skills and Knowledge Requirements:
Bachelor's degree required. OPWDD experience preferred. Experience with Medicaid billing preferred. Duties require professional verbal and written communication skills. Must be able to work a flexible schedule. Proficiency in computer software with the aptitude to learn other computer software as necessary. Meet the requirement to drive Springbrook vehicles as required. Springbrook is an equal opportunity employer.
