Team Teacher - South Hill School Age Program

South Hill School Age Program is looking to hire a Team Teacher to join our team. We are looking to hire someone to finish the school year (through June 2026) and return for the 2026-27 school year. The position is part-time (20 hours per week) and requires availability from 1:30 to 5:30 Monday through Friday. The ideal candidate is passionate about childhood development, has experience working with school-age children, leadership experience, has good decision making abilities and the ability to share their interests and creativity with the children. We are seeking someone who is enthusiastic, reliable, patient and compassionate. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Facilitation of daily activities (arts, crafts, theatre, music, athletics, academics, etc.)
• Program planning and implementation
• Preparing, serving and facilitating daily snack routine
• Daily supervision of children in grades K through 5
• Conflict resolution and communication with children, families and staff
• Staff Training Our program offers daily snack and a variety of activities for the children.

We focus on giving the children multiple options and an opportunity to complete homework as well as an opportunity to recreate and socialize with their peers. This position requires additional training throughout the school year and completion of New York State required paperwork.
