Job Description

Company Overview Envision Wellness WNY Behavioral Health is a community-based mental health organization committed to providing high-quality outpatient behavioral health services throughout Western New York. Our team is dedicated to improving the lives of individuals and families through compassionate care, clinical excellence, and strong community partnerships. We are currently seeking an experienced and motivated Program Director to join our leadership team. Overview The Program Director is responsible for overseeing the daily clinical and administrative operations of our behavioral health program. This leadership role works closely with executive leadership to support staff development, maintain compliance with OMH standards, improve program performance, and ensure quality client care. Duties Provide leadership, supervision, and support to clinical and support staff. Oversee program operations, workflows, scheduling, and service coordination Ensure compliance with OMH regulations, agency policies, and documentation standards Monitor quality assurance, productivity, and program performance metrics Supervise intake, treatment planning, case reviews, and discharge processes Support staff development through supervision, coaching, and training Participate in hiring, onboarding, disciplinary processes, and performance evaluations Assist with audit readiness, corrective action planning, and compliance initiatives Coordinate interdisciplinary communication and team collaboration Help identify operational improvements and support organizational growth initiatives Qualifications Active New York State professional license required (LMHC, LCSW, LMSW, LMFT, Licensed Psychologist, or related clinical license) Master's Degree in Mental Health Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, Rehabilitation Counseling, or related field required Minimum 3 years of experience in behavioral health or community mental health Prior supervisory or leadership experience preferred Strong understanding of OMH regulations and behavioral health documentation standards Excellent organizational, communication, and leadership skills Ability to manage multiple priorities and support staff in a dynamic environment Bachelor's degree in social work, public health, psychology, or related field; advanced degrees preferred.
