Job Description

XLI Manufacturing is one of Rochester's leading contract manufacturers. Our capabilities include a wide range of manufacturing (sheet metal, machining, turning and electro-mechanical assembly). Our facility is located in the heart of Rochester's manufacturing hub and we offer modern climate-controlled manufacturing floor space. The Program Manager must ensure that customers are satisfied with products and services. The Program Manager will need to work to establish and maintain high customer satisfaction and continue to keep an excellent relationship with each and every customer. It is the responsibility of the Program Manager to initiate action and take personal and complete responsibility for every order to ensure customer requirements are met from time of initial order receipt until the product is delivered, invoiced and the customer is satisfied. Proactively directs and manages customer needs which may include purchasing, engineering, quality, manufacturing and administrative functional areas.
Essential Functions:
Sales Order, Planning and Management:
Oversee all sales order types for production orders. Oversee and manage all customer purchase orders in to the enterprise system after verifying proper quantity, part number and pricing compliance Provide coordination among Planning, Buying, Engineering to allow on-time release of work orders Ensure the support of loading purchase orders in a timely manner
Quoting:
Monitor quote log to ensure data input accuracy Extract data from quote log to generate reports to aid with strategic sales Follow up with customers on estimates
Customer Service:
Understand customer requests and manage pricing, order entry, manufacturing, and shipment of all products to satisfy the customer Survey customers quarterly to assess customer satisfaction level; take appropriate actions to improve satisfaction level Maintain customer relationships by answering questions with speed, accuracy, and courtesy Manage database records and maintain status reports on customer service issues Work with management and sales to improve customer services
Administration:
Keep in line with company's accredited certifications and safety policy Provide leadership to staff to encourage problem solving Data entry, expedites, de-expedites, cancellations, BOM updates, PD updates
Education and Experience:
Bachelor's Degree preferred; or combination of education and experience in related field Excellent interpersonal and collaboration skills including both oral and written communication skills
Qualifications:
Excellent organizational skills; must be detailed oriented, able to multitask and make decisions independently within regulatory guidelines Professional demeanor in dealing with others (both internal and external customers and colleagues); maintain constructive working relationships Must be receptive to feedback; willing and interested in continuous improvement and leadership development
Weight Requirements:
Must be able to lift at least 20 lbs
Sensory Requirements:
Vision, speech, hearing, smell and touch are routinely used in day to day functions
