- Days Cincinnati, OH, United States Be the First to Apply Job Description In this role, the Research Program Coordinator will assist with the planning and implementation of the Research Education & Training programs and will work closely with the Director to coordinate and oversee programs including, but not limited to clinical, education, and community outreach.
Responsibilities Responsibilities:
Compose and edit the quarterly Women's Heart Center Newsletter Plan and support the annual symposium and community outreach events for the Women's Heart Center. Establish and maintain relationships with industry sponsors to secure funding for the symposium. Support and assist with the planning of Grand Rounds and all other educational symposiums.
Program Planning:
Plan and execute WHC events at the discretion of the Program Director and Program Manager Implements programs changes to ensure continuity of care as patient or physician needs change Qualifications
EDUCATION
Bachelor's degree required (preferably a science-based major), Master's preferred
YEARS OF EXPERIENCE
Prior program coordinator or assistant experience highly preferred. 2-3 years of experience, or educational equivalent, working as part of an interdisciplinary team. Prior experience in cardiology, healthcare and/or program operations highly preferred.
REQUIRED SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE
High level of organizational skills Ability to function independently Strong communication, problem solving, and critical thinking skills Effective oral and written communication skills Ability to work collaboratively and develop positive relationships with internal and external stakeholders Ability to adapt various technologies and a rapidly changing environment Proficiency in Microsoft applications (i.e., Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint)
