Job Description

About iGiftFund We are an independent donor advised fund (DAF) sponsor that partners with financial advisors and their clients to simplify charitable giving. Overview The Director of Advisor Development & Partnerships plays a key role in expanding and strengthening relationships with financial advisors, advisory firms and custodians. This role is responsible for both bringing new advisors and firms to partner with iGiftFund and deepening engagement with existing relationships, helping advisors integrate donor advised funds into their client conversations in a way that is simple, effective, and aligned with their broader planning. This position will also look to build strategic contacts with the custodians and Firms we already partner with. Success in this role is built on a combination of relationship development, thoughtful outreach, and consistent follow-through, supported by close collaboration with our operations and donor support teams to ensure a seamless experience. Core Responsibilities New Business Development Identify, engage, and onboard new financial advisors and wealth firms Build and manage a pipeline through outreach efforts including: Webinars and educational events LinkedIn engagement and content Targeted outreach and relationship building Clearly communicate iGiftFund's value proposition, emphasizing independence, flexibility, and service, including enabling advisors to manage charitable assets alongside client portfolios Partner with external marketing resources to support advisor outreach efforts, including maintaining an active presence on LinkedIn to build visibility and attract new relationships Guide advisors through the onboarding process in coordination with internal teams Advisor Relationship Management Proactively maintain relationships through regular check-ins and strategic conversations Help advisors identify opportunities to incorporate charitable planning into client discussions Support ongoing engagement to ensure advisors remain active and confident using the platform Strategic Partnerships Support the development and maintenance of relationships with custodians and key firm partners Participate in firm-level initiatives, presentations, and joint opportunities Identify opportunities to expand visibility within partner firms Internal Collaboration Work closely with Operations and Donor Support to ensure alignment in messaging and expectations Communicate advisor feedback to internal teams to help refine processes and materials Ensure a smooth transition from onboarding to ongoing servicing Supports management in strategic planning and goal setting, including contributing to reporting and updates for the Board of Directors What Success Looks Like Success in this role is measured by a combination of: Growth in new advisor relationships and firm connections Activation and engagement of advisors over time Strength and consistency of advisor relationships Contribution to overall growth and visibility of iGiftFund Consistent advisor outreach and educational engagement efforts, including webinars, LinkedIn presence, and relationship-building initiatives that enhance visibility and attract new advisor relationships Experience & Profile Bachelor's degree with 5+ years of experience in financial services, wealth management, or a related field; experience with philanthropic or charitable planning is a plus Solid understanding of investment management, financial planning, and charitable giving vehicles, with the ability to apply this knowledge in advisor-facing conversations Familiarity with donor advised funds charitable giving strategies, tax considerations, and complex assets is beneficial but not required Strong communication and relationship-building skills, with the ability to engage financial advisors and articulate iGiftFund's value in a practical and straightforward manner Comfortable engaging in both business development activities (e.g., outreach, events, webinars) and ongoing relationship management Proficient with CRM systems, and Microsoft Office and online communication tools such as Zoom & Teams, with the ability to leverage technology for relationship management and reporting Demonstrates a high-touch, service-first approach, with a focus on responsiveness, attention to detail, and delivering a strong advisor and donor experience
