  • Full-time Summary The SUTQ Coordinator will oversee and work a coordinated approach to child care providers to improve the quality of care available to families and the community.
The SUTQ Coordinator will provide resources, training and technical assistance/coaching to enhance the quality of care for young children including but not limited to, participation and/or maintaining their Step Up To Quality (SUTQ) rating. The SUTQ Coordinator will maintain the CCRC as the source for community, parents and providers to locate and understand quality early care and education. Duties Coordinate and expand the strategies needed to support all child care programs as they work to participate and/or maintain their Step Up To Quality ratings in an effort to improve the quality of the care while working in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment to successfully meet funder outcomes. Coordinate the development of relationships and communication with all child care programs annually in order to establish needs, create and implement action plans, deliver necessary training, resources and technical assistance to support program quality. Collaborate with community partners and other statewide organizations to raise awareness of the community, child care industry and needs of children and parents. Contribute to leadership in the community concerning advocacy for quality child care by; convening and attending stakeholder meetings with providers, licensing specialist and community. Serve as a team leader for the provider services team to coordinate agency-wide teaming, communication, support and resources that support each providers individual action plan goals. Develop, coordinate and motive team in developing and achieving annual team goals. Publicize, promote and share the CCRC mission, vision and impact within local communities to promote broader awareness of the CCRC efforts and accomplishments. Assume other responsibilities as assigned by supervisor. Identify innovative strategies to continuously challenge all CCRC team members to make 212 degrees their personal target Requirements Bachelor's Degree required, Master's degree preferred. Undergraduate studies in early childhood education or social service. A minimum of (5) years of experience delivering professional development and adult learning. Eligible to be approved by OCCRRA to deliver training that meets Ohio Approval. Ability to become proficient in; required screening/assessment tools, training modules, child care licensing system and SUTQ. A minimum of 3 years supervisory experience Excellent written and oral communication and organization skills to relate to a broad spectrum of community organizations, funders and child care providers. Ability to coordinate/conduct small group sessions Ability to coordinate the agencies; implementation of contracts, recruitment, data entry, reporting and analyzing data. Ability to work independently as well as a team leader and team member. Reliable transportation required & valid driver's license in Ohio. Nice To Haves Prior expereince and knowledge of Ohio's quality rating system Prior experience and knowledge of Ohio's licensing requirements Benefits Fulltime position
