Position Overview:

Madison-Champaign ESC is seeking a dependable and organized Latchkey Coordinator to lead the Norwood Elementary Latchkey Program. This position plays a key role in creating a safe, structured, and engaging environment for students before and/or after school while overseeing daily program operations. This is a part-time position with flexible scheduling (morning and/or afternoon hours), ranging from 20â€"40 hours per week.

Key Responsibilities:

Oversee daily operations of the latchkey program Supervise and evaluate staff Participate in hiring and onboarding of program staff Manage program purchasing and supplies Ensure compliance with daycare licensing rules and regulations Maintain a safe, positive, and structured environment for students

Minimum Qualifications:

High school diploma required; Associate's degree preferred Valid ODE license/permit (or ability to obtain upon hire) Minimum of 1 year of experience in a childcare or daycare setting Knowledge of daycare licensing rules preferred Successful completion of a criminal background check, including fingerprinting

Schedule:

20â€"40 hours per week (AM and/or PM shifts available) Some summer hours are required for training

Salary :

Commensurate with experience, per approved salary schedule
