At the Stephenson Cancer Center, we're thrilled to announce an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Cancer Outcomes Research Program Coordinator — a role designed for someone who's passionate about advancing cancer care through innovative research. As a key member of our Cancer Outcomes Research Program, you'll be at the heart of studies that shape the future of symptom management, supportive care, digital health, and long term cancer outcomes. This is your chance to contribute to groundbreaking work while collaborating with leading clinicians, researchers, and principal investigators.
What You'll Do:
Coordinate multiple research protocols and projects that drive real-world impact Engage directly with participants — screening, consenting, enrolling, and supporting them throughout the study Manage essential research data using REDCap and OnCore Partner with the Institutional Review Board on protocol development, submissions, and updates Identify recruitment barriers and help shape strategies to overcome them Assist in developing study materials, maintaining regulatory documentation, and tracking study progress Conduct medical record reviews and contribute to manuscript development Work closely with 2-3 principal investigators and collaborate with a dynamic team of Research Assistants, Project Managers, clinicians, and scientists If you're energized by meaningful work, thrive in a collaborative research environment, and want to help drive discoveries that improve cancer care, this role could be the perfect next step in your career. Required Education and Experience:
Bachelor's degree in Nursing or Health Professions field. 24 months experience in nursing, healthcare, or clinical trials management.
Equivalency/ Substitution:
Will accept 48 months equivalent experience in lieu of a Bachelor's Degree.
Required Certifications and Licenses:
