Prevention Educator / Youth Presenter Operation Aware of Oklahoma Tulsa, OK Job Details Part-time $20 - $25 an hour 7 hours ago Qualifications Interpersonal skills Employee relationship building Presentation skills Bachelor's degree Working with middle schoolers Working with students Stakeholder relationship building Full Job Description Prevention EducatorPart-Time PositionOperation Aware of OklahomaPosition Purpose Operation Aware Prevention Educators lead engaging, discussion-based lessons in local schools that help students build self-awareness, healthy coping skills, decision-making confidence, and resilience. Ideal for former educators, coaches, counselors, youth leaders, graduate students, or individuals passionate about supporting youth. Reports To Program Leadership Team Responsibilities Facilitate Operation Aware lessons in elementary, middle, and high school classrooms. Present curriculum in an engaging, age-appropriate way. Build positive relationships with students, teachers, and school staff. Maintain professionalism and strong classroom management. Attend staff meetings and trainings. Communicate regularly through email and Microsoft Teams. Submit schedules, hours, mileage, and required documentation on time. Maintain and organize program materials. QualificationsRequired Strong communication and listening skills Comfortable speaking in front of groups Reliable, flexible, and professional Ability to connect with youth and school staff Reliable transportation Preferred Experience working with youth, education, counseling, coaching, or mentoring Bachelor's degree in a related field Bilingual candidates encouraged to apply, especially Spanish or Burmese What We're Looking For Someone who is: engaging and personable emotionally intelligent dependable and adaptable comfortable facilitating classroom discussions passionate about supporting youth Schedule & Pay Part-time Primarily daytime school hours Position begins around August 15 and follows the school-year calendar, with a summer break beginning in May $20-25 per hour based on experience To apply or learn more, send us your information.
