OSU CAMP
will host the 2026 Title 1C Summer Programs, including the Leadership Institute, Agriculture Institute, Engineering Institute, and Science Institute, Middle School Camp, and a Leadership Institute at the Bend campus. Room and Board will be provided during the training and the four weeks of programming for all mentors. All positions will work directly with middle and high school Title 1C students during four week-long in-person institutes July 8 - 31, 2026 plus training June 29 - July 2. Transferable Skill Development OSU ismitted to ensuring students are prepared for success after graduation through intentional skill development as student employees. Thepetencies students develop while working at OSU are defined by the National Association of Colleges and Employers (NACE) as the essential skills employers seek in their hires. In this position, students learn and build vital career-readiness skills in the primary areas below: Communication, Teamwork, Leadership, Equity & Inclusion Position Duties Mentors will work with participants under 18 years of age and are required to live in the residence halls during the training and programming.
Position duties include:
Must participate in staff training on June 29-July 2 and ½ day in late May TBD Facilitate 12-15 students using the leadership curriculum Engage students with activities during the facilitation Work collaboratively with fellow mentors to knowledge, strategies, and best practices for supporting participants Ability to adapt quickly to changing circumstances, processes, and participant needs Enforce all "Student Conduct Regulations" as described by

Monitor the safety and welfare of program participants Organize and facilitate evening educational programming Carry out assigned work activities and participate in allanized events Attend and participate in staff meetings Assist in conducting program evaluations Perform other tasks as assigned Be available anytime during the day or night to respond to participant concerns Minimum Qualifications Full Employment Eligibility Requirements can be found : hr.oregonstate.edu/student-employment-manual/500-employment-eligibility-requirements Must be academically enrolled in a high school,munity college, or university and pursuing a program or course of study Must meet Academic Standing Requirements; students on academic suspension are not eligible for employment Must meet the applicable minimal enrollment standard High School student: Regularly enrolled in a high school or participating in a home-schooling program Undergraduate and post-baccalaureate student: 6 credit hours per term Undergraduate international student: 12 credit hours per term• Graduate student officially admitted to

Additional Required Qualifications Current or former CAMP Student. Former OMLI participant currently enrolled in a college or university. Experience in working with farm working populations. Experience working with group dynamics. Goodmunication skills. Experience facilitating workshops. Understanding of different leadership styles. Willingness to facilitate, socially interact, and participate in all workshops and activities. Energetic and outgoing personality preferred. This position is designated as a critical or security-sensitive position; tfore, the incumbent must successfullyplete a Criminal History Check and be determined to be position qualified as per OSU Standard 576-055-0000 et seq. Incumbents are required to self-report convictions and those in Youth Programs may have additional Criminal History Checks every 2 years. This position requires driving a University vehicle or a personal vehicle on behalf of the University; tfore, the incumbent must successfullyplete a Motor Vehicle History Check, possess and maintain a current, valid driver's license in their state of residence, be determined to be position qualified and self-report convictions (as per Voluntary and Compulsory Driver Standards OSU Standard 125-155-0200) as per OSU Standard 576-056-0000 et seq.
