Join the Linfield University Community Linfield University is seeking a compassionate, organized, and student-centeredprofessional to serve as our Student Support & Veteran Affairs Coordinator . This position plays a vital role in supportingstudent success while serving as the University's primary School Certifying Official for VA education benefits. JobSummary The Student Support and Veteran Affairs Coordinator supports the day-to-day work of the Student Care & Support officeby providing student outreach, resource navigation, case follow-up, program coordination, recordkeeping, and support for studentsexperiencing academic, personal, financial, social, or wellness-related challenges. Primary Duties andResponsibilities Student Care & Support Responsibilities Provide outreach, follow-up, and resource navigation forstudents experiencing academic, personal, financial, social, or wellness-related challenges. Support early intervention andretention initiatives, including Care Team, academic concern outreach, and other student success efforts. Collaborate with campuspartners to connect students with appropriate resources and reduce barriers to student success. Help develop and implementprograms, communications, and resources that support student well-being, belonging, and persistence. Veteran AffairsResponsibilities Serve as the primary School Certifying Official (SCO). Process and manage all VA education benefits,including invoicing, certification, system coordination, and student communication. Maintain institutional compliance with VA andState Approving Agency regulations. Support veteran and military-affiliated students. Plan and implement programs and eventssupporting veteran and military-affiliated students. Qualifications Bachelor's degree. Experience with VAEducation Benefits or willingness to learn. Experience in an educational setting, program management, or leadership roles.

Demonstrated experience supporting students through challenging situations. Strong communication, organizational, andproblem-solving skills. Linfield University participates in E-Verify to verify the identity and work eligibility of all new employees.
