Job Description

Position Summary The OnTrack Specialist assists income-eligible households in applying for and maintaining participation in the PPL OnTrack Program, a utility assistance program that helps customers manage electric bills through reduced monthly payments, debt forgiveness, and energy conservation services. The Specialist provides direct client support, determines eligibility, processes applications, maintains program compliance, and serves as a liaison between clients, PPL Electric Utilities, and community partners. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Assess client eligibility for the PPL OnTrack Program. Verify household income, residency, utility account information, and other eligibility requirements. Maintain accurate electronic and paper client records. Submit applications and supporting documentation in accordance with program guidelines. Monitor application status and communicate updates to clients. Educate clients on program requirements, payment responsibilities, and available utility assistance resources. Provide referrals to related services, including LIHEAP, WRAP, housing assistance, and other community resources. Respond to client inquiries by phone, email, and in person. Maintain confidentiality of client information. Prepare monthly reports and track program outcomes. Participate in required trainings and program meetings. Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications Associate degree in Human Services, Social Work, Business Administration, or related field preferred. High school diploma or GED required. Minimum one year of experience in case management, customer service, benefits enrollment, or a related field preferred. Experience working with low-income and vulnerable populations preferred. Bilingual (English/Spanish) strongly preferred. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Strong organizational and time management skills. Excellent customer service and communication abilities. Ability to explain complex eligibility requirements in a clear and compassionate manner. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and database management systems. Ability to maintain accurate records and meet deadlines. Strong attention to detail and confidentiality. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Pay:
$44,200.00 - $45,000.00 per year
