School-Age/Day Camp Director

Develops, organizes and implements high-quality YMCA school age child care, day camp, enrichment camps and enrichment programs. Researches and recommends innovative programs and new delivery models in accordance with Berwick Area YMCA strategic and operating plans.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in related field or equivalent, or an Associate's Degree and combination of education and experiences. One to two years related experience in the development of school-age programs. Excellent organizational abilities. Strong communication skills and ability to relate with community stakeholders. Typical requirements within an agreed-upon period from date of hire include completion of: Child Abuse Prevention Training; CPR; First Aid; AED; New Staff Orientation and Customer Service training. Ability to pass background checks in accordance with all Berwick Area YMCA policies for child abuse prevention.
