HICO America, headquartered in Pittsburgh Pennsylvania with facilities in Los Angeles, Greensburg, PA, and Memphis TN, is part of the Power Systems business unit, in the Industrial Performance Group of the Hyosung Corporation, a large publicly traded corporation based in Seoul, South Korea. HICO America is an ISO 9001 and 14001 certified company, with primary business in power system products. Are you a highly organized and self-motivated driver in your daily activities? The Program Coordinator reports to the Program Manager and is responsible for aiding in the development of a program based on HICO's strategic objectives with regards to our primary alliance customers to enhance our focus on these critical accounts to provide best-in-class responsiveness resulting in additional product and service sales. The Program Coordinator will work with the Program Sponsor (VP Sales), Manager of Outside Sales, and Program Manager to develop the Alliance Program Charter based on HICO's Strategic Objectives and authorize Program Coordinator to use organization resources to execute the program Input and guidance from the applicable Outside Sales Manager will always be considered and a team approach will be instituted. Others outside of the Sales organization will be engaged as necessary. Main Role & Responsibility is to focus on a select group of accounts and ensure that the strategic vision for each account is being sufficiently met. This position requires oversight into all happenings at each designated customer account which may require further action in taking the lead on a given task or being in a support role. Whereas an Outside Sales Manager is focused on a geographic territory, including certain special alliance accounts, the Program Coordinator's sole focus is helping the Outside Sales Manager and the company focus solely on strategic accounts. The Alliance Program will primarily focus on the following activities (Scheduling, Client Facing Customer Support, and Reporting) to further the Strategic Objectives.Requirements:
Travel for customer visits, conferences, trade shows and site visits. International travel will be required on an occasional basis. College level degree. An Engineering degree is strongly preferred but, at a minimum, candidates must be able to demonstrate the ability to quickly learn and adapt to the Power Industry. Proficient understanding providing customer support to aid in the development of champions within clients aiding in the deeper selling of projects to alliance customers. Uses modern and legacy networking techniques to build relationships and deliver value to the client base. Proficient in preparing and delivering Power Point presentations including the use of virtual communication platforms. Proficient in Excel with strong qualitative and quantitative analysis skills. EXTERNAL
Regular meetings between co-working divisions (ie. Sales and Procurement, Engineering and Design) Coordinate FAT scheduling in South Korea, Memphis, TN and Greensburg, PA Coordinate meetings at trade shows and other professional functions with detail on attendance and setting agendas Coordinate new HICO initiatives for training, seminar, and site visit activities Develop a calendar of events for each alliance client including HICO-Client events as well as key milestones in the client's calendarINTERNAL
Coordinate internal bidding for EPC works with support of Sales, Engineering and EPC execution Support outside sales, inside sales and proposal strategy on equipment only bidding and support outside sales as necessary with contract reviews and negotiation Coordinate internal review meetings in preparation for client facing meetings to better understand our issues with projects, explain client issues with projects and actively prepare discussion points and potential resolutions that can be clearly presented in external meetingsClient Facing Customer Support:
Provide a channel for open communication with all client departments based on regular meetings with co-working client divisions and HICO departments Coordinate responses to client queries that are broader than the scope of a single HICO Department Resolve client reported issues in a timely and coordinated fashion that is seamless for the client Continuously refocus supporting HICO departments on alliance customer issues with data and information from the clientReporting:
Synthesize MOM, client feedback, client queries into VOC for HICO and, if necessary, HQ (Seoul, South Korea) Register client activities, initiatives, investments and purchasing records as VOC for HICO and, if necessary, HQ (Seoul, South Korea) Lessons Learned and feedback from HICO initiated activities Support project execution in reporting to both clients and HQ (Seoul, South Korea) Develop presentation and other formats for reporting to Clients on our supply chain, technological developments, strategies for growth Ensuring continuous communication with clients is registered as an ongoing feed of market information Support outside sales in forecasting and market research HICO America provides equal employment opportunities (EEO) to all employees and applicants for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, national origin, age, disability or genetics.Similar remote jobs
