Job Description
New Hope Ministries, Inc, a premier social service agency in south central Pennsyvlania is seeking temporary part-time staff to facilitate our Youth Program Credit Recovery program that takes place at several of our locations across our agency footprint. Qualifications Shall be a Christian who agrees with the Statement of Faith, as found in the By-laws of New Hope Ministries Shall have experience and training youth/Christian ministry, education, and/or the social sciences. Shall demonstrate good social service and interpersonal skills Must have a clean criminal history and child abuse clearances Must complete and maintain 1st Aid, CPR, and Mandated Reporter certifications. Responsibilities To the Agency Shall report to the Youth Program Manager Attend Youth Program and agency staff meetings as required Administrative Help to capture client demographic and service data Ensure that facilities used by youth programs are kept clean and in good repair Program Responsibilities Provide compassion and care to youth and families participating in programs. Ensure that youth programs provide an environment of safety for youth attending the programs. Utilize Credit Recovery Curriculums to help youth attending programs meet desired outcomes. Volunteers Provide training and supervision of volunteers Maximize the use of volunteers in the delivery of youth programs. New Hope Ministries, a respected Christian social services agency is seeking six talented and dedicated individuals to serve as Youth Credit Recovery Facilitators. These positions will work as part of a dedicated team of youth staff providing oversight to school-age low-income children who need to complete credit recovery activities successfully in order to advance for the coming school year. The goal of New Hope Ministries' Youth Programs is to reduce the damaging effects of poverty and prepare children and youth for lives of success. We believe we best accomplish this goal when we recruit parents and caregivers as active partners in our work with children. The position is a part-time, 32-hour a week, non-exempt position that will work until August 7, 2026 . These positions have immediate availability with anticipated working days of Monday-Thursday, flexible daily schedule with an hourly wage of $19/hour. Individuals should have their own transportation and be willing to travel to the sites hosting the Credit Recovery program.
