SHARE Housing Coordinator

About us Active Aging, Inc is the non-profit Area Agency on Aging for Crawford County, PA. We are responsible for assisting individuals over 60 with accessing and obtaining the services they need in our community. Active Aging, Inc. is seeking a dynamic, outgoing, and dedicated individual with a strong work ethic to work throughout Crawford County to promote the SHARE (Shared Housing and Resource Exchange) program through the recruitment of potential homeowners (Home Hosts) and home seekers (Home Sharers). Act with increasing independence to assess and evaluate clients who may be matched with other clients within the context of the SHARE program. Match clients in Home Host/Home Sharer situations to best enhance and prolong their ability to remain living in the community. Work directly with Home Hosts/Home Sharers who have been matched in order to establish and maintain healthy relationships. Work hours will include evenings and weekends to represent the program and the agency at various events.

EDUCATION/PROFESSIONAL REQUIREMENTS

Bachelor's degree or experience/education equivalent. At least 2 years of experience or training in housing counseling or a related field. Previous marketing experience This is a full-time position offering:
