Job Description

Qualified Intellectual Disabilities Professional (QIDP) Starting rate range $23.50-$25.00 McGuire Memorial is looking to fill a fulltime (40 hours) QIDP leadership role for all individuals supported in McGuire's ICF/ID program We are a ministry providing comprehensive services to children and adults who have physical and intellectual disabilities. JOB DUTIES
Plan, integrate, coordinate and monitor the active treatment program. Responsible for the management and programing of a caseload of individuals who reside within McGuire Memorial's residential program. Provide direct supervision to the Direct Care Supervisors and ensure daily activities are completed in accordance to McGuire policy and to ensure the quality of care for the individuals supported. The QIDP is the primary advocate and key person responsible for drawing together family, friends, staff, and resources to enhance independence and improve the quality of life for the individuals we serve. Schedule and facilitate annual ISP meetings. Participation in preadmission meetings and evaluations as requested. Participate in admission and discharge documentation. Responsible for establishing goals and objectives, determining skill needs and strengths as well as completing timely modifications and monitoring as the need arises. Promote individual's welfare, dignity and respect by advocating for their rights. Facilitate communication among families, support coordinators, outside agencies or programs and other team members. Ensure accurate completion and maintenance of individual's records/files. Provide direct daily support to direct care staff and supervision in the area of program planning and implementation.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Human Services, Education, Psychology, or related field One year direct experience working with persons with disabilities Must be able to work some evenings and weekends. Excellent communication skills (oral and written). Supervisory experience preferred. Requirements (all provided by McGuire): Ability to pass physical and drug screening Department of Human Services Child Abuse History Clearance Pennsylvania State Police Criminal Record Check FBI Federal Criminal History Record (fingerprinting) TB testing
