Job Description

The Villa Maria Education and Spirituality Center seeks a qualified candidate for the full-time position of Program Director. The Program Director serves as a key member of the Ministry Team of the Villa Maria Education and Spirituality Center (VMESC), supporting the mission of fostering spiritual growth, personal development, and faith-based education in the spirit of the Sisters of the Humility of Mary. The Program Director is responsible for envisioning, developing, and implementing VMESC's retreat and program offerings that reflect Catholic values and a commitment to ecological and social justice. The position involves collaboration with the President/CEO, ministry staff, and the broader community to ensure that all programs advance the mission and vision of VMESC. Candidates must hold a bachelor's degree in theology, Pastoral Ministry, Spirituality, Religious Education or related field (master's degree strongly preferred) and have three to five years of experience in pastoral ministry, retreat leadership, or program development within a faith-based organization. The successful applicant must be a practicing Roman Catholic committed to the teachings and sacramental life of the Church, with strong organizational, communication, and collaborative skills. Flexibility for evening and weekend work is required.
