Operating across Western New York, the organization partners with local non-profits, to deliver impactful programs in education, environmental conservation, and youth workforce development.OVERVIEW
The ABLE Program Manager is responsible for AmeriCorps member recruitment, enrollment, administration, and ongoing support throughout the service term. This role oversees member services, compliance systems, documentation, and program operations while supporting training, partnerships, and program implementation. The Program Manager collaborates closely with the ABLE Director and cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with AmeriCorps and organizational requirements, guide long-term program strategy, and contribute to The Service Collaborative's agency-wide initiatives.DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Serve as the primary support and point of contact for ABLE members, including ongoing coaching and relationship-building Manage member recruitment, enrollment, onboarding, and exit processes, including all required documentation and compliance checks Maintain accurate member data, records, and reporting systems (including Salesforce) while ensuring compliance with AmeriCorps and grant requirements Conduct regular member check-ins, site visits, and performance monitoring to support program quality and member development Oversee payroll, training coordination, and support for member professional growth and service delivery Coordinate with partner sites, leadership, and internal teams to support placements, program implementation, and risk management Support outreach, recruitment, and partnership development efforts Contribute to program evaluation, reporting, strategic planning, and organizational initiatives including fundraising and community engagement Stay informed on national service and education trends to support continuous program improvement Top of Form Other duties as assignedQUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred. Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience. Experience with AmeriCorps or national service programs preferred. Strong relationship-building skills and experience working with diverse populationsKNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES
Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Experience with program development, training, and mentorship. Proficiency in Microsoft Office; Salesforce experience preferred. Ability to analyze needs, solve problems, and improve systems. Commitment to the values of AmeriCorps and national service.PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Ability to sit, stand, and work at a computer for extended periods of time. Ability to travel regularly to partner sites and community locations for meetings, site visits, trainings, and outreach events. Ability to lift and carry materials or equipment up to 25 pounds for trainings, events, and program activities. Ability to communicate effectively in person, virtually, and by phone with members, partners, and staff. Ability to occasionally travel to conferences, summits, and other professional development events.HOW TO APPLY
