The Electronic Warfare Systems (EWS) organization, part of our Radio Frequency Solutions (RFS) SSBU within our Advanced Products and Solutions (APS) SBU is seeking an Associate Director (AD) within the Emerging Programs Directorate. In this role you are responsible for the capture and execution of strategic business as a growth engine for Raytheon. You will be responsible for planning and execution of small to large programs through development, production and sustainment phases. The AD leads a team of program managers and is responsible for total program performance including project execution, business goals and customer relationships of all programs within the team. The AD must have the skills to manage several direct reports plus a large cross functional team, including suppliers, and interact with other Raytheon business units to successfully deliver the products for the programs. This role is onsite in Goleta, CA. What You Will Do Accountability for profit and loss, AOP development and execution, and EAC inputs Develop and execute program growth strategies Building and maintaining relationships with the customers Manage cost, schedule, technical performance Lead program reviews and program development through customer engagement, supplier management Develop and execute contingency plans to address potential risks and maintain program schedules Provide regular updates to program leadership and executive teams on progress, challenges, and milestones Lead proposals, negotiations, capture activities Manage direct reports including training, performance reviews and guiding them through program challenges Travel to support the business as needed Qualifications You Must Have Typically requires a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience and minimum 12 years of prior relevant experience, or an Advanced degree in a related field and minimum 10 years' experience Program or project management experience leading development programs Experience managing cost, schedule, and technical performance for programs with use of program management tools such as Earned Value Management System (EVMS), Integrated Master Plan (IMP), Integrated Master Schedule (IMS), Risk and Opportunity Management, Scope Board, or similar business processes Experience supporting cross-functional teams Active and transferable Secret U.S. government issued security clearance is required prior to start date with the ability to obtain program access after start Qualifications We Prefer Program Management Level 3 Certification or ability to obtain within one year Proven success creating and maintaining strong executive level relationships with suppliers, customers, government representatives, US acquisition commands and internal peers Experience working with government customers on large, complex programs with direct customer interfaces, both internal and external Technical knowledge of Electronic Warfare systems and similar technologies Basic understanding of the military operations community and logistics support structures Experience leading capture activities What We Offer Our values drive our actions, behaviors, and performance with a vision for a safer, more connected world.

The salary range for this role is 172,900 USD - 328,700 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
