Remote role with flexibility to attend community events, consulates, and partner locations in Houston, TX, as well as in nearby counties.

Full-time About Mil Mujeres Legal Services Mil Mujeres Legal Services is a dedicated non-profit organization providing critical immigration legal services to survivors of violent crimes, focusing on gender-based violence within the low-income Latino community. We are committed to empowering individuals, ensuring safety, and delivering justice to those who need it most. Key Responsibilities Plan, organize, and coordinate all administrative and general operations of the Houston office to support smooth and efficient city activities. Plan, implement, and coordinate outreach programs and initiatives in collaboration with consulates and other partner entities, including leading Mil Mujeres' participation in local events, fairs, community activities, and consulate meetings to deliver "Know Your Rights" presentations, conduct surveys and intakes, and provide direct community assistance. Perform administrative functions including client appointment support, filing, scanning, document management, and the preparation, review, and processing of legal documents, ensuring accuracy and compliance with legal procedures. Assist in the development of short- and long-range plans aligned with organizational goals, including developing and maintaining strategic relationships with local agencies, consulates, referral sources, and community organizations to expand outreach efforts and generate new candidates. Manage the PALE program (if applicable), including contract oversight, program follow-up, submission of reports, participation in progress meetings with the executive team, and supporting compliance with contract maintenance. Support grant execution by monitoring program goals, developing strategies to meet objectives, maintaining compliance records, and assisting in the preparation of narrative and performance reports to ensure accountability and timely submission.
Qualifications Language Skills:
Bilingual proficiency in Spanish and English is essential (oral and written).
Education:
An associate degree in Office Administration or a related field is preferred.
Experience:
Minimum of 1 year in a similar administrative or client-facing role. Why Work with Us? What We OfferCompensation Salary:
$34,000 annually (40 hours/week).
