Job Summary Reporting directly to the Director of Programming, you will serve as the primary contact for a cohort of Executive MBA (EMBA) - Ann Arbor students and the faculty who teach them. Working with the program team to ensure programming aligns with strategic direction and learning objectives, you will manage the comprehensive student services and program delivery functions for one of two student cohorts in Ann Arbor, including engagement in delivery, evaluation, and continuous improvement of executive student learning and development activities. You will also engage in delivery of EMBA admissions activities, leadership development and career advancement programming, alumni events, and work on special projects to help continuously develop the program. This hybrid position is based in Ann Arbor, MI, with an expectation of three days per week on-site. The role may require occasional domestic and/or international travel and work outside standard business hours, including early mornings, evenings, or weekends. Responsibilities• Serve as the primary point of contact for an assigned Executive MBA student cohort, providing guidance, support, and advocacy throughout the student experience. Lead the planning, coordination, and delivery of cohort programming, including academic residencies, events, orientations, commencement activities, and other key program experiences. Partner with faculty, staff, and campus stakeholders to ensure seamless program operations, exceptional student experiences, and alignment with program goals and learning objectives. Monitor and support student academic progress, helping students navigate policies, resources, and challenges while promoting student success. Manage program communications, learning platforms, course-related processes, and student engagement activities to keep cohorts informed and connected. Gather and analyze student feedback, identify opportunities for improvement, and implement enhancements to strengthen program quality and outcomes. Represent the program at admissions and student-facing events, helping showcase the Executive MBA experience and support enrollment efforts. While the Ann Arbor cohort manager will have primary responsibility for a cohort in Ann Arbor, occasional travel to the EMBA campus in Los Angeles to support programming and events may be required. Required Qualifications• Bachelor's degree and 5+ years of related experience or an equivalent combination of education and related experience required. Must have program, project, or event management experience to include planning, implementation, evaluation and continuous improvement as well as experience managing multiple projects with tight deadlines. Experience with delivering and evaluating learning and development programming. Experience preparing and delivering presentations to constituents at various levels. Experience in fiscal management and in monitoring budgets. Proficiency with Zoom, Google Workspace, Microsoft Office, AI tools, and other common database, email, calendar, and collaboration technologies. Why Work at Michigan? Additional Information The salary offer range for this position is $53,500 to $66,100. Salary offers are determined based on several factors, including a candidate's experience, skills, and qualifications, along with internal equity considerations. It is not common for new hires to be placed at the top of the range.
