Full-time Full-time Description:
The Program Coordinator reflects the mission, vision, and values of PEMM and adheres to the organization's Code of Ethics and Corporate Compliance Program, and complies with all relevant policies, procedures, guidelines, and all other regulatory and accreditation standards. The Practice Coordinator is required to locally support all aspects of day-to-day operations for emergency department physician groups, provide 24/7 staffing accountability, and serve as executive assistant to the chief administrative officer and Senior Regional Vice President of Operations of the group. Day-to-day operations of the practice will include, but are not limited to: Conducts daily/weekly in-person rounds at each client contract site Serves as on-site lead for resolving escalated patient issues in-person or over the phone; resolves complex or critical situations involving patients and customers Screens incoming email, mail, and telephone calls to assign priority, route as needed, and identify additional resources needed to address and/or respond to the communication Independently performs high-level technical and administrative work Facilitates the resolution/prevention of billing errors, outstanding charts, and documentation compliance. Serves as the liaison between the hospital, practice, and billing company Maintains a strong relationship with internal providers, staff, and outside vendors Performs regular rounding on all sites within the practice Assists with data collection and analysis related to all aspects of physician practice Maintain provider files in accordance with practice requirements and hospital compliance Serve as the liaison between the hospital medical staff office and practice leadership/providers for credentialing, continued education requirements, provider performance expectations, stipend reconciliation, and risk management. Assist with provider schedules, schedule conflicts, and schedule maintenance Plan, execute, and resolve all routine technical needs of the practice (phone, copiers, fax machines, PCs, etc.) Supports the Chief Administrative Officer and the Senior Regional Vice President of Operations with day-to-day responsibilities such as calendar maintenance, meeting scheduling, meeting minutes, meeting prep, data collection, and presentation Supports practice with other projects and duties as assigned
Requirements:
Required Qualifications include: Bachelor's Degree in Healthcare, Healthcare Administration, or related field required; Master's degree (MHA, MPH, MBA, or similar) preferred 1-3yrs of experience Demonstrate ability to set priorities, coordinate diversified and multiple activities, and make appropriate managerial decisions Possess advanced problem-solving and team-building skills Possess excellent communication and customer service skills Computer knowledge and experience with Microsoft Office Suite; Electronic medical record data access and data collection Ability to interface with leadership and various departments within client hospital is crucial
