FULL TIME EMPLOYEES

Job Summary:
The Program Coordinator- Autism is responsible for monitoring and maintaining the clinical quality and integrity of treatment in the Autism Service Line, with the ultimate goal of ensuring that best practices for children and families are being used consistently across all programs and that WFS is providing high quality and cost effective services.
- Autism will also assist in the development of new programs within the Autism Service Line to ensure consistency across all programs. The Program Coordinator
- Autism works under the direction of the Site Manager II and is highly collaborative with other positions across WFS.
Minimum Requirements:
Education:
Master's degree in a human services field, preferred in psychology, social work, or counseling.Experience:
- 3 years of clinical experience working directly with children and adolescents with Autism Spectrum Disorders and/or mental health disorders.
- 1 year of experience with clinical documentation.
- 1 year of experience with training and supervising other direct care staff.
Licenses, Certifications & Clearances:
- Must have 1 of the following: o LPC, LCSW, LSW, LMFT, or BSL (with a clinical or mental health direct service practicum preferred )
- Act 33/34 Clearances
- FBI Clearance
- Valid State of PA Class 1
Drivers License Duties & Responsibilities:
- Assists Site Manager II in the monitoring and maintenance of clinical treatment integrity in the Autism Service Line to standardize practices across locations and programs and ensure that best practices are being used: o Assists in the identification and development of needed procedures to ensure consistency across programs o Develops and offers communications, trainings, supervision topics, and other strategies for staff to enhance the quality of staff and delivery/use of evidence-based practices, including on-site supervision, new hire training, supervision for Behavioral Health Technicians (BHTs), in-home training for IBHS staff, and in-group training for Wonder Kids (WK) staff o Maintains billable hours each month by conducting on-site supervision, written orders, initial assessments, and by billing as the clinician when training staff with consumers as assigned o Provides coaching and performance feedback to field staff and supervisors o Develops and uses fidelity checklists and other measures across programs to measure and improve treatment fidelity and staff competence o Develops and maintains standardizes curriculum and materials for WK program o Attends monthly supervisory meetings to keep open communication with the programs o Participates in recruitment and retention efforts to ensure we hire/maintain quality staff • Evaluates programs for consistency and fidelity to the treatment philosophy and program/payer standards: o Assists Program Specialist in the identification and prevention of clinical risk • Maintains minimum caseload of consumer billable hours in IBHS per week or as assigned.
- Assists in the development of new autism-related programs across IBHS to ensure consistency across all programs: o Works with corporate support departments, other Autism staff members, solution teams, and other workgroups to continuously team on efforts for ongoing improvements, change implementations, and evaluation of program success o Evaluates new growth opportunities and assists in ensuring consistency with existing programs, fidelity to our treatment philosophy, development of quality training for staff, effective family involvement activities, and outcomes measurement
Skills & Abilities:

- Ability to exhibit cultural sensitivity and to contribute to a work environment where diversity is welcomed and supported.
- Ability and the skills to conduct clinical training and supervision with staff using coaching and mentoring, as needed.
- Ability to impart complex material in an understandable form to help build competencies to criteria.
- Ability to conduct objective assessments of staff and services to develop plans to improve clinical practices.
- In-depth knowledge of evidenced-based practices, including current and ongoing trends within the fields of autism, mental health, and behavior analysis.
- In-depth knowledge of data collection, interpretation, and analysis, including effective documentation.
- Knowledge of child development and behavior management strategies.
- Skilled in accurate clinical assessments, setting treatment goals, identifying appropriate interventions, and providing therapeutic treatments to children and adolescents with autism.
- Ability to effectively prioritize and manage multiple activities/tasks to accomplish objectives.
- Ability to have a flexible schedule, including some evenings or weekends with the ability to meet weekly scheduling demands.
