Program Coordinator (Behavioral Health & Psychiatry) Kissimmee, FL 34741 Hybrid work $20 an hour - Full-time $20 an hour - Full-time Join a Mission-Driven Team Making a Real Impact At Serving Children and Reaching Families, LLC (SCARF) , our work is rooted in one purpose: helping children and families reach their full potential. We provide compassionate, community-based behavioral health services, and we're growing. We're looking for a highly organized, proactive Program Coordinator to support our Behavioral Health and Psychiatric programs. This is a key operational role —you'll be at the center of client coordination, scheduling, and ensuring services run smoothly from intake through ongoing care. What You'll Do Front Office & Client Communication Manage the main business phone line and serve as the first point of contact for clients Schedule appointments, confirm visits, and follow up with clients Intake Coordination Coordinate client intakes from referral through admission Ensure all required documentation is collected and completed Communicate with clinicians and staff to ensure timely service access Psychiatric Coordination Schedule and manage psychiatric appointments in coordination with providers Support psychiatric clinic days (including occasional Saturdays) Ensure clients are prepared for appointments and follow-ups Authorizations & Insurance Submit and track initial and ongoing service authorizations Follow up with payers to prevent service interruptions Verify insurance eligibility and maintain accurate records Administrative Support Maintain accurate data in the EMR system Generate reports and support program operations Ensure timely follow-up on appointments and documentation What We're Looking For 1+ year of administrative, healthcare, or program coordination experience Strong organizational and time-management skills Excellent communication and customer service skills Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment Detail-oriented with strong follow-through Bilingual (English/Spanish) strongly preferred due to the population we serve Schedule & Work Environment 32 hours per week (Full-Time) Monday - Thursday (Primary schedule) Occasional Saturdays required to support psychiatric clinic operations Hybrid role with both in-office and administrative responsibilities Why Join SCARF?
