Full Job Description Position Summary:
The Program Coordinator will support the Faculty Development Office under the supervision of the Associate Dean and Director of Faculty Development. This role is responsible for coordinating administrative and operational activities for professional development programs across Boston University Medical Campus, including Medical Center (BMC) and University School. The coordinator will assist with program logistics, calendar management, faculty communications, event coordination, data management, and program tracking to support faculty advancement and development initiatives.Key Responsibilities:
Program Coordination Coordinate faculty development programs, seminar series, and professional development activities Support application and admissions committee processes Track program effectiveness and maintain evaluations through Qualtrics Maintain and update Faculty Development website and program materials Assist with faculty career and CV consultation coordinationAdministrative Support:
Manage Outlook calendars, meetings, and scheduling for leadership and programming Prepare meeting agendas, record minutes, and monitor action items Maintain databases, office manuals, and tracking systems Assist with departmental reporting and leadership presentations Coordinate logistics including room scheduling, catering, and AV/technology setup Manage office supplies and purchasing within budget guidelinesRequired Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree required 1-2 years of program coordination or administrative experience Experience in healthcare, higher education, nonprofit, or academic settings preferredRequired Skills:
Strong organizational and multitasking abilities Excellent verbal and written communication skills Proficiency with: Microsoft Outlook MS Word Excel PowerPoint Web browsers Ability to work independently and collaboratively with diverse teams Strong attention to detail and project coordination skills Work Environment Hybrid schedule (2-3 days onsite weekly) Professional academic healthcare environment Collaborative and mission-driven team culture TSHL01Pay:
