Job Description

Program Coordinator (Contract) Please note that this is a contract role providing services to Microsoft through external staffing partners of Allegis Global Solutions. If you are selected for this role, you will be employed by AGS and will not be an employee of Microsoft.
Summary:
This position offers an exciting opportunity to provide critical support and expertise to project and program managers within a dynamic digital commerce environment. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in enabling a groundbreaking program focused on selling and fulfilling third-party products through innovative partnerships. This role requires a detail-oriented professional who excels at creating structure from ambiguity, identifying process gaps, and implementing solutions that drive efficiency across large-scale initiatives. The position demands someone who can balance multiple priorities while maintaining accuracy in tracking, reporting, and coordinating complex workstreams. Working within a highly collaborative team environment, this individual will be instrumental in ensuring projects operate within defined governance controls and meet established standards for success.
Job Responsibilities:
Oversee time recording and resource demands made by project and program teams, ensuring accuracy and meaningful documentation Provide comprehensive project and resourcing support on selected projects and programs Coordinate and maintain Management Information that is timely, accurate, and effectively communicated to stakeholders Ensure projects and programs operate within defined governance controls and meet required recording standards Provide financial and resource planning and management support to projects and programs Develop planning documentation in support of project and program governance, including project plans, risk and issues logs Develop and maintain resource model estimates and track forecasting resource movements and spend Coordinate and lead various forums, boards, and meetings in support of project and program managers Identify gaps in current processes and structure, then build out improved frameworks Send status updates to various teams and ensure tasks are defined with timelines met Drive work forward by controlling and tracking various moving pieces across the program Create high-level presentations that describe processes and supplement existing documentation Train and support colleagues on process and tools usage Analyze data to inform decision-making and track performance indicators
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree required Previous knowledge and experience of project management methodologies required Program or project management certifications such as PMP or PMI preferred but not required Minimum 6 years of overall experience as a program coordinator Minimum 2 years of experience as a project or program manager Minimum 6 years of experience with program organizational skills Minimum 2 years of experience with project planning and tracking Minimum 6 years of experience with strong analytical skills for interpreting data Previous experience working on large-scale programs and building out programs from inception Demonstrated experience managing processes end to end, including working through blockers and defining action plans Experience overseeing projects and programs from start to finish Background working with cross-functional teams on multi-phase and complex projects Strong organizational skills with proven ability to manage complex programs Project planning and tracking expertise Strong analytical skills for interpreting data and identifying trends Excellent written and verbal communication skills Ability to deliver on priorities in fast-paced environments Capability to empower self and others through collaboration Flexibility to respond to changing priorities and adapt quickly Self-motivated and proactive approach to problem-solving Ability to identify gaps and develop resolutions independently Experience coordinating large-scale programs end to end Proficiency with project management tools and methodologies
