(Boston Office) Attorney General Andrea Joy Campbell is looking for a highly motivated individual to join her team as a Program Coordinator I in the Attorney General's Fair Labor Division. The Fair Labor Division (FLD) investigates and enforces the Massachusetts wage and hour and other laws governing fair labor standards and public construction bidding laws under Chapters 149 and 151 of the Massachusetts General Laws and related regulations.
Primary Duties :
Provide day-to-day administrative and operational support for all aspects of the Division's work.
Respond to internal and external requests, including private rights of action, personnel records, waivers, and advisory letters.
Under the supervision of an Assistant Attorney General, respond to public records requests, archive records, and support the administration of the Bid Protest Unit.
Assist attorneys with case preparation including reviewing documents and exhibits, and preparing for hearings, depositions, meetings, or trial.
Communicate with attorneys, witnesses, court clerk's offices and members of the public.
Provide constituent visitor support on the phone or in person.
Coordinate administrative projects to include records archiving and destruction aligned with the office's retention periods.
Perform clerical duties such as organizing and maintaining files, screening and distributing mail.
Manage calendars and schedule critical dates, deadlines, and case-related appointments.
Prepare and complete forms and court filings and maintain records in the case management system.
Position Type :
Full-Time/Non-Exempt. Our current hybrid model includes some remote workdays for most positions.
Salary :
$2,572.70 - $3,702.54/bi-weekly. Salary is determined by procedures outlined in applicable collective bargaining agreements and personnel procedures. Starting salary is determined at the corresponding step on theapplicable salary chart(Unit 6 NAGE, National Association of Government Employees, Grade 10 as of 7/2026) for total years of relevant experience, minus the Minimum Entrance Requirements outlined in the Position Requirements section above. Substitutions:
I. A bachelor's or higher degree with a major in accounting, business administration, business management, or public administration may be substituted for the required experience.
II. A bachelor's or higher degree with a major other than in accounting, business administration, business management, or public administration may be substituted for a maximum of one year of the required experience.
Education toward such a degree will be prorated.
