Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking an energetic and visionary Program Director to lead and oversee the development, implementation, and management of impactful programs within our organization. This leadership role requires a dynamic individual who is passionate about fostering growth, ensuring program excellence, and building strong relationships with diverse stakeholders. As a Program Director, you will drive strategic initiatives, supervise teams, and ensure that all programs meet organizational goals while maintaining compliance with relevant regulations. Your expertise will help create positive outcomes for individuals with developmental disabilities and other behavioral health needs, empowering them to thrive in their communities. 1. Program Leadership & Oversight Provide overall leadership and daily supervision of the 21st CCLC program Ensure the program aligns with grant goals, school-day learning, and student needs Develop and implement high-quality academic enrichment and youth development activities Maintain a safe, structured, and engaging environment for all participants 2. Grant Compliance & Accountability Ensure full compliance with 21st CCLC grant requirements and federal regulations (2 CFR Part 200) Oversee documentation for audits, monitoring visits, and
NC CCIP / CRATE
submissions Maintain accurate records of: Attendance Program activities Staff time and effort Inventory and equipment (COA 461 compliance) Ensure policies are followed (procurement, internal controls, PTO, time & effort, etc.) 3. Staff Supervision & Development Hire, train, and supervise program staff and volunteers Ensure all staff meet required qualifications and certifications Conduct staff evaluations and provide ongoing professional development Develop staff schedules, including non-student service time duties (planning, training, data entry) 4. Fiscal Oversight (in coordination with Fiscal Agent) Collaborate with the Fiscal Agent on budget planning and expenditures Monitor budget vs. actual spending to remain within approved grant limits Review and approve time sheets and payroll documentation Ensure all expenses are: Allowable Reasonable Properly documented 5. Program Implementation & Quality Assurance Design and oversee academic, enrichment, and recreational activities Ensure alignment with: School-day curriculum Summer school programmatic Student academic improvement goals Monitor program effectiveness using data and performance measures Implement continuous improvement strategies 6. Data Collection & Reporting Collect and submit required data (attendance, outcomes, assessments) Ensure timely and accurate reporting in state systems (e.g., CRATE/CCIP ) Maintain student records and confidentiality (FERPA compliance) Use data to evaluate program success and guide improvements 7. Communication & Collaboration Serve as liaison between: School administration Church leadership (if applicable) Parents and families Community partners Ensure consistent communication with the Fiscal Agent and leadership team Address operational issues promptly and professionally 8. Family & Community Engagement Plan and implement family engagement activities Build partnerships with community organizations Promote the program within the community 9. Safety & Risk Management Ensure student safety policies are followed at all times Maintain emergency procedures and incident reports Oversee proper supervision ratios and transportation safety (if applicable) 10. Transition & Continuity Planning Maintain organized documentation for smooth program continuity Ensure all procedures, files, and responsibilities can be transitioned if needed Assist in onboarding or training new leadership when requiredPay:
