This is a hybrid role that requires physical presence in Arizona. This position is built for individuals who connect naturally with young people and excel in dynamic environments. At Unbound Academy's tuition-free, fully virtual charter school, students advance through academic content rapidly using AI-powered tools, then engage in live, interactive workshops centered on life skills, teamwork, and personal growth. Your responsibility is to ensure these experiences flow seamlessly and feel meaningful to students. You'll serve as the essential link that holds the experience together. You'll facilitate transitions, guide small groups, sustain energy levels, and provide support when students need encouragement or redirection. Content instruction isn't your focus—but without your presence, the system loses its cohesion. If you've worked with youth in camps, after-school settings, athletics, tutoring environments, or community programs—and you're drawn to a hybrid position that combines virtual facilitation with in-person collaboration—this is an opportunity to make school feel connected and purposeful again. What you will be doing Facilitating live virtual workshops by coordinating breakout rooms, managing transitions, monitoring pacing, and maintaining group momentum Promoting student participation through chat engagement, verbal recognition, gentle prompts, and individualized check-ins Ensuring students remain engaged, confident, and socially connected throughout their learning experience Supporting lead educators with operational logistics that enable sessions to run efficiently Serving as a reliable, approachable presence within student clubs and life-skills programming What you will NOT be doing Delivering academic instruction or teaching subject-area content Developing lesson plans, grading assignments, or evaluating student performance Building curriculum or facilitating workshops on your own Operating in a passive or observational capacity—this role demands active engagement and high energy Key Responsibilities Facilitate dynamic, virtual learning environments by keeping students engaged, organized, and motivated throughout every workshop session. Candidate Requirements Available to start immediately or at the end of July (one of the two). At least 1 years of experience mentoring, coaching, tutoring, or leading youth Educational background within U.S., Canadian, or U.K. school systems (K-16); must have attended school in one of these countries Energizing, student-first presence with strong attention to detail Willing to work in a hybrid role in Arizona.
