You will report directly to our Sr. R D Manager within the Navigation, Controls, and Surveillance group in the Advanced and Applied Technology organization. You will have the option of working from our Plymouth, MN location or Redmond, WA location on a hybrid work schedule. The Advanced and Applied Technology organization focuses on new technology development, and we are seeking an experienced program manager with a passion for driving new technology development. In this role, you will work closely with a diverse team of scientists, engineers, and technicians to lead the program management aspects for programs developing navigation technologies. Specifically, you will lead programs related to GPS-denied navigation technologies for airborne, surface, and underwater applications. You will be joining a talented group of researchers and be part of exciting and innovative research. You will be expected to bring your experience and expertise in program management to help contribute to the success of our group. + Lead programmatic tasks on internal and external programs related to navigation + Manage and understand complex customer requirements, and act as a focal point for customer relationships + Learn internal Honeywell processes to help execute existing programs successfully and to drive new business opportunities + Effectively manage budget, schedule, and resource loading to ensure successful program execution + Work as part of a cross-disciplinary team in a research environment with effective communication and ensure roadblocks are removed to allow for proper team execution
YOU MUST HAVE
- + Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution in either program management or a relevant technical discipline such as science, engineering, or mathematics. + 6+ years of experience managing large-scale government or industry R D programs + Proven track record of successful program execution + Effective communication and ability to interact with internal and external stakeholders

- + Advanced degree (MS or PhD) in program management, or in a technical discipline such as engineering, robotics, computer science or another related field + Strong understanding of program management concepts such as earned value management and Agile Scrum methodology + Experience working government R D contracts (e.

The annual base salary range for this position in California and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Connecticut, and Hawaii is $140,000 - $175,000. For Washington and most major metropolitan areas in New York & California, the annual base salary range is $160,000-$190,000. Please note that this salary information serves as a general guideline.
