Women's Wisdom Art is hiring a Part-Time Program Manager www.womenswisdomart.org

Resume, References Qualities of candidate: We are seeking to hire an individual who has an enthusiastic appreciation for the benefits of engaging in the arts as a means of empowerment and healing, and has the following qualities:
  • Experience creating different forms of art
  • Experience or interest in working with women of varying backgrounds and who maybe experiencing being unhoused and/or mental illness
  • Good interpersonal skills
  • Ability to speak in front of groups
  • Good organizational and management skills
  • Able to work independently
  • Able to work in a team environment and/or coordinating a team
  • Social media experience
  • Spanish bilingual a plus The responsibilities of the part time WWA Program Manager are as follows:
  • Work 20 hours a week with some weekend hours dedicated to weekend events. Available to work Tuesday, Wednesday & Thursday
  • Support current teaching artists for WWA workshops and work closely with the teaching artists and the host organizations to ensure WWA goals are met
  • Recruit new teaching artists for workshops
  • Facilitate art workshops when teaching artists aren't available
  • Facilitate basic art workshops at six monthly outreach sites
  • Work with Program Assistant to create social media and event flyers
  • Create and send the monthly newsletter through MailChimp
  • Update WWA calendar on the website as workshops are scheduled
  • Create postings for open workshops on Eventbrite
  • Attend monthly Board meetings (zoom) and provide a report : Obtain thorough understanding of WWA's Mission, Vision and history as provided by current Board members and
Advisory Council Members Salary:
Starting $24-25 an hour, with mileage reimbursement for traveling to workshop sites Send resume and references to wisdomart@womenswisdomart.org
