Job Description
About the Role Platinum Edge is looking for an Afterschool & Weekend Program Manager to work directly with the founder to build and deliver quality youth programming. This is a hybrid role with required in-person sessions in Belcamp, MD. You'll have genuine autonomy, direct access to leadership, and the opportunity to contribute to both program design and business development. What You'll Do Design and manage afterschool and weekend programs for youth Collaborate directly with the founder on curriculum, new program ideas, and growth strategy Support business development efforts including community outreach, school partnerships, and identifying new program opportunities Coordinate scheduling, staffing, and logistics for program sessions Serve as a primary point of contact for families, school partners, and community stakeholders Track attendance and outcomes to support program reporting and improvement Program Areas Include Math & ELA (individual subjects and standardized tests), Lego Robotics, Artificial Intelligence, Personal Finance, STEM Enrichment, and Leadership Development Who We're Looking For A strong communicator — written, verbal, and interpersonal Responsible and dependable; someone who takes ownership and follows through A quick thinker and problem solver who stays composed under pressure Personable and warm — great with youth, families, and community partners Creative eye for business development and program growth opportunities Experience in education, youth development, or community programming preferred Must be able to travel to Belcamp, MD for in-person sessions What We Offer Direct access to the founder and real input on program direction Hybrid schedule with flexibility Diverse, growing program portfolio Opportunity to grow into a senior role as the organization expands To Apply Record a ~2-minute video introducing yourself — who you are, what drives you, and why this role is a fit.
