Description:
The Programs Manager leads, manages, and grows the Foundation'smunity programs that serve artists of all mediums. The Programs Manager leads, manages, and grows the Foundation'smunity programs that serve artists of all mediums. Key program areas include Creative Exchange and grants making. The Arts Foundation of Cape Cod (AFCC) is the region's leading nonprofitanization dedicated to supporting and strengthening a vibrant and diverse arts and cultural sector across Cape Cod, Martha's Vineyard, and Nantucket. Through grantmaking, professional development, partnerships, andmunity programming, AFCC works to ensure that all people have access to the arts and that artists and culturalanizations can thrive. YouThis role is ideal for someone who is highlyanized, follows through consistently, and brings a mentor mindset to their work. You are able to guide others, break downplex ideas into clear steps, and support artists and colleagues with clarity and care. You have experience working in the arts and arefortable in educational settings, particularly with adult learners. Youmunicate clearly, manage details effectively, and are skilled at turning big ideas into actionable plans that move projects forward.
Qualifications:
  • Stronganizational skills with excellent follow through
  • Clear and thoughtfulmunicator who keeps others informed of progress, needs, and oues
  • Experience managing projects from concept through execution, including promotion and evaluation
  • Knowledge in at least one artistic discipline, or experience in teaching or coaching
  • A collaborative spirit with experience working in a smaller environment
  • Passion for the arts andmitment to continuous learning
  • Ability to translate strategic vision into clear program plans Additional Skills and Experience
  • Experience as a practicing artist or broad knowledge of the arts
  • Ability to build strong relationships with artists and foster a sense of d purpose
  • Strong listening skills and the ability to identify opportunities and solve problems
  • Experience facilitating conversations, workshops, or group learning environments
  • Comfort working with budgets and understanding program performance
  • Familiarity with tools such as Constant , social media platforms, and AI tools
  • Commitment to fostering inclusive and weing creativemunities Primary Responsibilities
  • Partner with the Executive Director to manage all aspects of grant administration, including applicant support and granteemunication
  • Continuously evaluate and improve program criteria, processes, and alignment withanizational goals
  • Structure educational programs, including virtual and in person workshops and talks, for artists and cultural leaders, by identifying topics, recruiting speakers, and facilitating programs
  • Ensure strong program execution through planning,munication, marketing coordination, and post program evaluation
  • Track oues and gather insights to strengthen future programming
  • Support the Executive Director in the coordination and administration of special program, such as the fiscal sponsorship project
  • Contribute ideas to grow and evolve the Foundation over time Location The Arts Foundation's office is located in Hyannis, on Cape Cod.
This position is primarily in office, with the option for a hybrid schedule depending on the candidate and timing.
