This role is hybrid onsite 3 days a week in Mettawa, IL. Role Summary
The Sr Program Manager, APS Integrated Delivery serves as a key execution leader within a centralized program management function, responsible for translating strategic priorities into coordinated, measurable outcomes. This role partners closely with cross functional stakeholders to drive alignment, ensure program execution excellence, and deliver against performance measurement plans. The position focuses on connecting strategy to execution, proactively managing risks, and ensuring initiatives remain aligned to broader organizational goals. The Sr Program Manager operates within a complex, matrixed environment and plays a critical role in maintaining visibility, accountability, and progress across multiple high impact initiatives. 5 to 7 plus years of program management and governance experience
Experience within patient services or pharmaceutical industry preferred
Strong strategic thinking, organizational, and problem solving capabilities
Financial management experience and understanding of business operations
Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills, with ability to communicate across all organizational levels including executive leadership
Proven ability to lead without authority and drive team performance
Strong conflict resolution and stakeholder management skills
Ability to build and maintain relationships across commercial, technology, compliance, medical, and operations teams Responsibilities
Program Management and Execution Lead end to end delivery of performance measurement plans from design through deployment
Establish clear timelines, deliverables, and expectations while ensuring accountability across stakeholders
Proactively identify risks, bottlenecks, and dependencies and implement mitigation strategies Cross Functional Collaboration Build and sustain strong relationships with stakeholders across business, technology, and strategy teams
Align stakeholders around shared goals, timelines, and outcomes in a complex environment
Influence decision making without direct authority Performance Management and KPI Ownership Partner across functions to define key performance indicators and success metrics
Drive clarity in ownership of performance targets and reinforce shared accountability
Ensure alignment between program outcomes and broader strategic objectives Reporting and Insights Collaborate with technical partners to develop and deploy dashboards and reporting tools
Provide regular updates on program status, risks, and performance to leadership
Translate data into actionable insights to inform decision making Governance and Communication Maintain structured communication routines to ensure transparency and alignment
Escalate risks and issues appropriately while maintaining strong stakeholder engagement
Support governance processes to ensure programs remain aligned to strategic priorities Continuous Improvement Identify opportunities to enhance processes, tools, and execution frameworks
Drive consistency in program management practices across initiatives
Contribute to improved efficiency, risk reduction, and overall program effectiveness In this position, you may have access to client or customer systems, confidential and/or proprietary information or data, including medical data. This position is onsite and requires you to work closely with other individuals in a collaborative team environment. Additionally, drug products may be present in the workplace.
