BAE Systems is seeking a Senior Principal Program Control Analyst with strong analytical and interpersonal skills to join the Program Finance team in the Advanced Compact EW Solutions (ACES) product line. This role is responsible for providing financial oversight and leadership to a challenging portfolio of programs that encompasses multiple phases of the program lifecycle. The ACES product line has experienced significant growth in the past two years, as it is developing next-generation technology for classified and unclassified customers. The candidate for this role will be a trusted business partner to program stakeholders providing analysis, management of financial requirements, and support aimed at driving positive program financial and execution. This role will be performed in a hybrid remote format , with the individual splitting their time between our offices at 95 Canal St, Nashua, NH, and remotely from an alternate work location . To be considered for this opportunity, applicants must either currently reside within a reasonable daily commute of Nashua , or be willing to relocate to the area at their own expense.
ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Responsibilities include: Significant program team contributor. Coordinating team meetings and reviews and offering solutions to problems Utilizing strong communication skills to interface with Program Management Organization (PMO) team and others, including; project managers, technical staff, subcontractors, and customers in support of PMO activities Creating, maintaining, and monitoring program baselines utilizing Earned Value Management Developing financial forecasts and deeply analyzing estimates at completion Working with the contracts department for funding, billings, and other contractual items Developing and monitoring program risks and opportunities, such as cost overruns and scheduling delays Supporting weekly, monthly, and quarterly reporting requirements both internally and externally Interfacing with customers Proposal support through pricing basis of estimates, compiling cost volumes, and preparing request for bid approvals (RBA); participating in fact-finding, statements of position, and negotiations Required Education, Experience, & Skills Bachelor's degree in business administration, accounting, finance, or related degree / equivalent experience plus 8+ years of relevant experience, or advanced degree with 6+ years of relevant experience Ability to develop solutions to complex problems using ingenuity & innovation Previous experience in program control and working proposalsProficiency in Microsoft Office tools and Earned Value Management Ability to develop solutions to complex problems using ingenuity & innovation Experience communicating and presenting financial data to other functions and senior leadership in an accurate, concise, and understandable manner Strong interpersonal skills to influence cross-functional work teams Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills Active Security Clearence Experience with Oracle, Hyperion, ProPricer, and Cobra Ability to challenge and improve knowledge of industry practices and standards as well as company policies Demonstrated ability to supervise the development and management of compliant EVMS baseline Ability to develop and maintain professional and effective relationships with internal and external customers
Pay Information Full-Time Salary Range:
$118747 - $201870 Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
