The Strategic Sourcing Department is looking for a Strategic Sourcing Program Specialist to join our team. In this role, you'll help lead our contingent worker program and play a key part in supporting business needs while driving compliance, cost efficiency, and strong vendor partnerships. You'll support the day-to-day operations of the program, including onboarding and offboarding, job postings and placements, reporting, and customer support. You'll work confidently within the VMS, resolve issues as they arise, and help ensure renewals, policies, and procedures stay on track and compliant. Employees in this role may work remotely if not local to the area or, if based in the Cincinnati area, are expected to be on-site four days a week with the flexibility to work remotely one day. Core in-office days are Tuesday through Thursday, with the fourth day determined by business needs. Job title and salary will be dependent on successful applicant's level of experience. Essential Job Functions and Responsibilities Oversee the day-to-day operations of the contingent worker program, ensuring tasks are completed accurately and on time. Serve as a trusted resource for hiring managers by providing clear guidance on contingent worker guidelines, job placement, procedures, requirements, and reporting. Review, approve, and process new worker requests efficiently and with attention to detail. Act as the first point of contact for contingent worker support, resolving questions and issues, including VMS triage. Partner with internal and external stakeholders to support smooth onboarding, offboarding, conversions, renewals, rate changes, and other program initiatives. Maintain and update documentation, communicate process changes, and identify opportunities to improve service quality. Manage the Vendor Management System proactively by monitoring performance and recommending enhancements. Deliver a high level of service to internal and external partners while contributing to the overall success of the team. Perform other duties as assigned. Job Requirements Generally, a minimum of 5 years of experience in strategic sourcing, procurement analytics, or supply chain management in a corporate environment. Experience in contingent workforce management, staffing, or HR operations, with a proven track record of success. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, with preferred experience in Workday VNDLY, other VMS platforms, and ServiceNow; ability to create reports and presentations. Strong data analysis and interpretation skills to identify issues and recommend practical solutions. Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities, with attention to detail and a focus on continuous process improvement to support exceptional service delivery.
