In this vital role, you will develop, implement, and oversee individualized treatment plans, facilitate group and individual therapy sessions, and ensure seamless case management for clients battling substance use disorders. Your expertise will help foster a supportive environment that promotes healing, resilience, and long-term recovery. This is a hybrid position that would include completing assessments, individual sessions and group facilitation. Administrative responsibilities include but are not limited to reviewing and approving schedules, reviewing and assigning newly assessed clients to appropriate staff. Responsibilities Conduct thorough patient assessments to determine substance use severity, mental health status, and readiness for treatment using diagnostic tools aligned with ICD-10 coding standards. Develop personalized treatment plans incorporating motivational interviewing, cognitive behavioral therapy, behavioral management strategies, and other evidence-based interventions tailored to each client's needs. Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions focused on addiction counseling and relapse prevention Manage intake processes efficiently by collecting comprehensive medical documentation while adhering to HIPAA regulations to ensure patient confidentiality. Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams including social workers, medical professionals, special education specialists, and community resources to provide holistic care. Monitor patient progress through ongoing assessments; adjust treatment plans accordingly while maintaining accurate medical records and documentation in compliance with CPT coding standards. Engage in crisis intervention and crisis management when necessary to support clients experiencing acute mental health or behavioral crises. Collect data for clinical research projects related to behavioral health outcomes; participate in research activities involving ICD coding systems like

for diagnostic evaluation purposes. Skills Expertise in motivational interviewing techniques to foster client engagement and motivation for change. Proficiency in crisis intervention strategies and crisis management protocols within behavioral health settings. Experience in home & community care environments supporting behavioral health or substance use recovery programs. Familiarity with medical terminology, medical documentation standards, ICD coding systems (ICD-10), and HIPAA compliance for managing sensitive patient information. Ability to conduct diagnostic evaluations, case management activities, patient assessments, and coordinate individual/group counseling sessions effectively. Strong communication skills to collaborate across multidisciplinary teams while maintaining professional integrity in clinical counseling settings.
