The ideal applicant MUST be available M-F daily at 1:30pm. Hours are as needed until 9pm. Evening and Weekend availability preferred. Schedule is flexible The Boys & Girls Club of East Providence is seeking applicants to plan and run teen activities and programs at the Clubhouse on Williams Ave in East Providence as well as offsite locations.
Applicants MUST have:
- Previous experience working with youth
- Hold a high school diploma and 12 college credits preferred
- Must be willing to drive 15 passenger van
KEY ROLES
(Essential Job Responsibilities): Program Development and Implementation Effectively implement and administer programs, services and activities for program participants. Programs include but are not limited to: Art activities, sports and recreation, character and leadership building activities, STEM and social and emotional development. Monitor and evaluate programs and activities to ensure health and safety of members, Prepare periodic activity reports. Ensure a productive work environment by participating in all scheduled staff meetings.
ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES
May participate in special programs and/or events
SKILLS/KNOWLEDGE REQUIRED
Minimum one year of previous experience with youth High School diploma, 24 college credits preferred Strong written and verbal communication skills Good leadership skills, including an understanding of group dynamics.

$14.00- $16.00 an hour based on experience and education level Covid policy- If hired candidates must: Vaccinated Staff should bring in their vaccine card or a photo thereof and show it to the hiring agent. Unvaccinated Staff will need to take a weekly PCR test to verify that they are not infected with Covid-19. A copy of your negative results must be emailed to your immediate supervisor, by noon each Sunday in order for you to be eligible to work on Monday. Unvaccinated Staff will also need to begin wearing masks while supervising children outside as well as inside the building.
