Weatherization Operations Manager Blackstone Valley Community Action Program - 3.6 Pawtucket, RI Job Details Full-time $64,480 - $74,880 a year 2 hours ago Benefits Health insurance Dental insurance 401(k) Vision insurance 401(k) matching Qualifications Vendor relationship building Customer communication Staff supervision Program management Customer service In-person customer service Fleet management High school diploma or GED Driver's License Productivity software Full Job Description Job Profile Ensures work meets operational standards set by the organization and state/federal mandates; Coordinates the daily logistics of auditors working on homes; Schedules energy audits, crew deployments, and final inspections; Manages inventory, fleet vehicles, equipment, and safety compliance; hires contractors to perform work. Develops and implements initiatives aimed at enhancing program efficiency and effectiveness. Supervises staff and ensures compliance with program guidelines and policies. Primary Duties / Essential Functions
  • Oversees daily operations of Weatherization Program, ensuring program efficiency
  • Develops and implements program plans addressing mandated changes and improvements
  • Assists with the training of new and existing staff
  • Reviews and monitors staff and audit work for accuracy and compliance
  • Manages all aspects of deliveries, supplies, and customer/vendor relations
  • Performs quality assurance measures for Weatherization Programs
  • Maintains schedules and coordinate appointments for audit services
  • Oversees clerical staff to ensure proper administrative tasks are accomplished
  • Ensures strict adherence to program regulations and procedures
  • Manages, recruits, and retains vendors and contractors
  • Prepares, reviews, processes, and submits all invoices accurately and timely
  • Serves as the primary contact for vendors, CAPS, and funders for the Weatherization Department
  • Maintains program records, spreadsheets, and databases, ensuring accurate data entry
  • Monitors and tracks grant usage and recoups unused grant funds as needed
  • Assists in reviewing and processing energy applications, verifying eligibility and adherence to program guidelines
  • Coordinates and participates in local outreach events, when necessary, to inform the community about available energy assistance programs
  • Assists with various program coordination and vendor communication
  • Assists in preparing for and scheduling monitoring by various vendors and RI agencies associated with the Weatherization Program and department
  • Pursues continuous improvement and professional development to enhance skills and performance
  • Assist program directors as necessary
  • Performs other duties as assigned Education Requirement and Prior Work Experience
  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent required; Associates Degree preferred
  • Minimum of two years supervisory experience, in a non-profit environment preferred, in an office environment
  • Proficient in the English language
  • Understands and speaks Spanish and/or Portuguese
  • Able to communicate with management and colleagues clearly and effectively
  • Excellent time management skills
  • Able to adapt to a changing work environment
  • Maintain confidentiality of clients and the agency
  • Practice professionalism while representing clients and the agency
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office 365 or related software
  • Must be detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple projects at a time
  • Must be able to work independently and as a team member

Pay:
$64,480.00 - $74,880.00 per year
