Job Description

Job Responsibilities Maintains and reviews weekly inspection reports of state-wide rest areas and reports on the status of contractor compliance. Coordinates with the county/district SCDOT Maintenance field offices to generate solutions for maintenance needs at rest areas. Assists with maintaining budget for Department of Maintenance's (DOM) maintenance contracts. Provides costs trend analysis for contract line items for use in fiscal year budget planning. Provides ad-hoc contract/budget reporting in support of the Director of Maintenance Office. Generates procurement documentation (shopping carts, purchase orders, goods receipts, etc.) for purchases against maintenance services and commodity contracts. Procures these goods and services within SCDOT certification limits. Assists with emergency maintenance operations in the DOM office during inclement weather events. Reviews and processes payments for invoices pertaining to incumbent contracts-custodial and grounds maintenance at Rest Areas, UST Fuel/Diesel Tanks, Sanitary Lift Stations, etc. Performs other related duties as assigned. Minimum and Additional Requirements A bachelor's degree and one (1) year of relevant program experience; or an approved acceptable equivalence. A valid motor vehicle operator's license is required. The physical demands for the essential functions includes sitting or standing at a desk for an extended periods and working on a computer. May be required to lift up to 30 lbs. May be required to work outside normal business hours.
