Job Description:
Our client is looking for a Grants and Programs support specialist to provide support assist with the review, verification, and processing of reimbursement payment requests submitted by program grantees and partner organizations through the client's service portal. This role is contract and onsite in Columbia, SC.
Responsibilities:
Monitor and utilize the client's service portal to manage and track reimbursement requests submitted by program grantees and partner organizations. Review, verify, and process reimbursement payment requests in accordance with client policies and applicable regulations. Coordinate with the Finance Department to support timely payment processing. Work collaboratively with grantees and partners to identify and resolve discrepancies related to reimbursement requests. Assist with filing, recordkeeping, and organization of documentation upon completion of payment processing. Provide support with grant extension processing as needed. Assist with application processing for specialized programs, as needed. Perform additional grant administration duties as assigned by the department lead.
Qualifications:
1-2 years of experience in grant administration or project coordination Working knowledge of federal grant regulations ( preferred) Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects. Experience with tracking systems (Excel, Point, etc.). Strong communication and analytical skills; ability to work independently.
Benefits & Compensation:
$24hr -$28 hr FGP offers contract employees benefits including minimum essential coverage insurance, a fixed indemnity plan and a 401k retirement plan once eligibility requirements are met.
