Department USD-Graduate Medical Education Physical Location of Position (City) Sioux Falls Posting Text Under general supervision of the Dean of Graduate Medical Education and the direction of the faculty Program Director, the candidate will: 1. Administer the Geriatrics Fellowship Program using resources and systems to assure an effective and compliant educational experience for fellows. 2. Act as liaison with other School of Medicine and Medical Center Departments and national accreditation organizations (ACGME/RRC). 3. Manage fellows, external department rotations, and elective rotations. 4. Facilitate annual recruitment process for applicants using web-based Electronic Residency Application Service (ERAS), and all fellow personnel and payroll actions. 5. Participate in the development and planning of curriculum for fellow education. 6. Implement all components of web-based New Innovations, a contracted GME Residency Management System that includes schedules, evaluations, duty hours, and other management modules. 7. Act on behalf of the Program Director as needed. 8. In addition, the position will provide assistance for evaluations and reporting for all fellowship programs.
Preferred Qualifications:
Ability to manage multiple tasks and competing priorities. Experience with office equipment and software including Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams, and Zoom along with the ability to quickly learn new technology platforms. Ability to work independently with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Ability to develop and maintain effective working relationships with residents/fellows, faculty, and staff. Must be authorized to work in the U.S. Sponsorship is not available for this position.
