Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
Oversee, coordinate, and implement all activities related to planning, coordinating, and implementing support of families and children in the System of Care Across Tennessee-Network and System of Care Across Tennessee-TANF Programs. Responsible for ensuring all phases of the Programs involved in are done to high quality and fidelity. Provide direct supervision of the Program Managers and Direct Care Staff as needed and other daily program operations. Coordinate assignment of families to the Staff for each program. Assist and support Program Manager(s) in developing skills in working with diverse families and in promoting positive interactions for their teams. Facilitate individual and team-based supervision meetings as assigned. Monitor and manage assigned program budgets with input from CFO/CIO. Ensure that informational materials are strategically represented at various conferences and health and information fairs across the state. Provide technical assistance to ensure development of family leaders and family support groups across the state, including active recruitment and training of facilitators and on-going consultation. Participate in policy making and advisory groups to support parents and to facilitate collaboration between professionals and parents. Actively advocate for best practice and system of care principles for children and families in a variety of settings (i.e. mental health planning councils, coalitions, court, and school meetings). Actively seek out growth opportunities to assist with growth of TN Voices programs and initiatives. Encourage and support the coordination of services for children with SED and their families. Ensures that all data and reports are properly managed and documented. Collaborate with the VP of Programs and Chief Operations Officer on program scope of services, implementation, and sustainability. Collaborate and work with VP of Programs in seeking out opportunities to grow TN Voices programs. Collaborate and work with partner agencies to identify needs within the State and how TN Voices can assist in addressing gaps in care. Ensure that TNV conforms to CARF standards applicable to the services provided. Actively seek and secure grants from diverse funding streams. Perform other related duties as assigned.Skills and Other Abilities:
Excellent collaboration, customer service, supervisory, management and leadership skills. Knowledge of the service area and of resources for children with mental health issues. Knowledge and personal experience with children who have behavioral disorders. Knowledge and experience with juvenile justice, educational, and other child-serving systems. Desire to help and support parents of children with SED, with strong customer service skills. Commitment to system of care principles, cultural competency & effective teamwork. Excellent communication, organizational, problem-solving/creative thinking skills. Excellent written, computer, communication, and problem-solving/creative thinking skills. Established support system and access to resources. Ability to travel locally and out of state.Qualifications :
Master's in Social Work, Psychology, Education, or related field is preferred with experience working with mental health, disabilities, or special populations preferred. At least 5 years of experience in working with parents of children/youth, volunteers, state and local agencies, and task forces or other community groups and in parent training, consultation, and support. Three years of experience in a supervisory role preferred. Experience in networking with other agencies, organizations, and coalitions.Similar remote jobs
